This page showcases my passion for music through a collection of reels, album covers, and posters I’ve created over the years. The work includes designs for bands I’ve been involved with, as well as freelance work I did for more prominent Canadian acts such as The Dirty Nil and Theo Tams (winner of Canadian Idol series 6!). The variety of musical genres I’ve worked with is reflected in the diversity of the artwork, from bold and energetic designs to more understated and atmospheric visuals.
Each piece embodies the music it represents, capturing the essence of the sound while maintaining a strong, artistic identity. Humour and subverting expectations also play a part in my designs. I like to create abstract visuals or whimsical worlds in outer space using collage techniques. I collaborate with painters, mix practical photography with bold graphics, or take the illustration skills I learned on The Simpsons and familiar cartoon characters in unexpected poses.
